Personal Training

All members of the Manatee YourChoice Health Plan receive 5 personal training sessions per calendar year at no cost. You can choose to work out one-on-one or with a small group of friends. There are a variety of trainers with varying specialties and locations to choose from.

How much do personal training sessions cost?

Every member of the health plan receives 5 free sessions each year. The sessions do not roll over and are non-transferrable. Make sure to use all 5 sessions before December 31st of the current year. For PT sessions beyond the 5 free, members can negotiate the fee directly with the trainer.

Where are the personal training sessions located?

Locations may vary depending on the client’s needs and requests. Location is decided by the trainer and client.

Is there an age limit?

You must be 19 years of age or older to receive one-on-one personal training sessions.

Allison Blaustein offers therapeutic Yoga at Manatee YourChoice. Therapeutic Yoga groups or private sessions will address the specific needs of each individual by utilizing the most effective Yogic tools. In general, all sessions are going to increase the participant’s ability to create and sustain a higher level of the relaxation response and a sense of mindfulness, that will benefit over all well-being.

Anna is an ACSM Personal Trainer and the Ms. Health & Fitness 2017 International Winner. Now a mommy of two beautiful children, she is re-learning to juggle work, exercise, eat healthy, and wear all the hats! Anna is a personable individual whose goal is to offer a strong training experience to help you achieve any goal you have in mind!

Originally from Cuba, Arnoldo has a great passion for Sport and Fitness. He holds a black belt 4th degree in Karate and is a former Cuban National Karate Team Coach. He has mastered other sports like Baseball, Boxing, Tennis and Golf.

Chuck is an Air Force veteran who served for 20 years. Fitness has been a part of his life before, during, and after the military and has 15 years of training experience. He is a motivator and an educator for fitness and enjoys working with people of all ages to see fitness as part of their lifestyle.

Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, I moved to the Bradenton area in 2003.  My passion for health and fitness began years ago when I lost 30 pounds by incorporating a lifestyle of healthy eating and exercise.  After I moved to Florida, I decided to turn my passion into my career.  I haven't looked back since!

Jenny is a certified yoga instructor with 300 hours of training from Aura Wellness Center and 200 additional hours from Yoga Bradenton as well as being an E-RYT200 with Yoga Alliance. Yoga began as just a physical practice to relieve pain for Jenny so she could continue to run and take part in high intensity, high impact workouts. However, after practicing for only a few months she began to notice the mental and spiritual benefits of yoga as well and began to incorporate a more well-rounded practice.

A Florida native and raised here in Bradenton, Julie has had a love for fitness and exercise since childhood. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from University of South Florida and ran a fitness center in Sun City Center for over 10 years.

Personal Trainer

LaRae Brownewell has a love for helping people find a more balanced place in their own body and seeking to create a joyful experience to enrich both the body and the spirit. After a very severe accident, LaRae could no longer walk across a room. It took a year for her body to heal. Because of that, she began to see a deeper value in her Yoga & Pilates practice.

Leanne moved to Florida from the United Kingdom in 2001 with her husband for his job. She has 2 children, Abigail 12 and Ethan 18, who are both very active in sports. Leanne grew up as an active child, dancing from a young age and playing team sports at school, but she developed a love for Group Fitness classes when she took her first Aerobics class at 18.

Mike is originally from farm country outside of Sioux City, Iowa but mostly grew up in the Lakewood area of Colorado. His post high school education was at Colorado State University. He participated in all kinds of sport activities from a young age where he started forming and shaping his ideas about health and fitness. He's been an avid fitness enthusiast for over 40 years and has his training certificate from the American College of Sports Medicine.

Natalie specializes in improving posture, mobility, and balance which are the 3 components assessed during the Happy Body session for the new HiiP Program.  For almost 30 years, Natalie has studied and worked in the health and fitness industry. She is highly trained in multiple, integrated disciplines that enable her to most effectively respond to the needs of her clients. With her years of experience, she has worked with a diversity of clients. They range from professional athletes improving their fitness levels to individuals working to improve their daily lives through health and wellness.

Sharon, E-RYT500, has had the privilege of teaching Yoga since 2010.  Her warm, authentic and lighthearted approach encourages students to practice honest exploration through the movement of Yoga.  Whether you are working on finding flexibility, cultivating body awareness, improving posture or relief from stress, she is dedicated to creating a meaningful experience to help you find the benefits of yoga.  Sharon creates accessible classes with modifications.  Private sessions are geared towards your personal goals.  Sharon has a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from Eckerd College and loves to use language to guide students into their bodies and their lives.
