Employees, spouses, dependents, and retirees with active Manatee YourChoice Medical Insurance coverage will continue to have access to new and ongoing wellness benefits. Check out the details of both our new wellness offerings and the continuing benefits you already enjoy!
Crunch Fitness (Peak Results Membership)
What's Included:

Eligibility to use Crunch Fitness:
- Adult (18+) employee and dependent participants in the YourChoice Medical Plan can have their own Crunch memberships. Crunch members under this plan may bring in up to one guest who does not have their own membership.
- Children age 14 to 17 who are on the YourChoice Medical Plan are eligible for their own Crunch memberships, but they must have a parent-signed waiver on file with Crunch. Crunch members age 14 to 17 may use the gyms independently, but do not have access to tanning and cannot bring a guest.
- Children who are under age 14, even if covered on the YourChoice Medical Plan, are not eligible for their own Crunch memberships. Any children (age 14+) may attend as a guest of the parent member as long as they are accompanied by their parent. Children may participate in Crunch's childcare program (at participating locations) when accompanied by their parent member. Please see below for more information about the childcare program.
- Please note that Crunch may require minors to have a government or school ID to use their facility as a member or guest.
How to Request a Membership:
After You Submit Your Request:
- The information you provided will be sent to Crunch Fitness for eligibility verification
- A Crunch Fitness representative will contact you with instructions on how to complete the membership process
- Please be sure to check the email you provided for this communication
Current Crunch Fitness Members:
- You must visit your local Crunch front desk to cancel your existing membership the month prior to starting YourChoice membership
- The YourChoice Crunch Peak Results Membership is a new membership
- Existing Crunch memberships cannot be transferred
Childcare:
- Child care is available at select locations for an additional fee
- Child care fees are not covered by the medical plan
- Check with your local Crunch Fitness for participating locations
We appreciate your patience as we transition to this exciting new membership benefit. Please note the following:
- Personal training sessions (eligible for adult health plan members age 18+) are available with Crunch trainers. Please see the "Personal Training at Crunch Fitness - Give Me 5 Program" section below. Adult members receive five free personal training sessions per year, which are covered by the Manatee YourChoice medical plan. Any additional sessions or other charges, including consultation fees and extra services, are not covered by the plan and are the member’s responsibility.
- Please allow up to two weeks to receive communication from Crunch regarding your membership
- If you do not receive an email, please contact benefits@mymanatee.org
- Rude or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated and may result in revocation of the membership benefit
Personal Training at Crunch Fitness - Give Me 5 Program
- Adult Members (18+) receive five free personal training sessions per year through the Give Me 5 program
- Important Training Selection Rule (Disclaimer): Members must select either Crunch Fitness personal training or a Manatee YourChoice contractor trainer for the Give Me 5 program; training sessions cannot be split or combined between providers.
- Give Me 5 personal training sessions with a Crunch Fitness personal trainer may only be used at participating Crunch Fitness locations in Manatee County
- Members may use all five sessions with a Crunch Fitness personal trainer or
- Use all five sessions with a Manatee YourChoice contractor personal trainer
- Once a training option is selected, all five sessions must be completed using that same option
