Manatee YourChoice offers programs and events to power your healthy lifestyle!

Our sessions are designed to fit your workday - join from your desk, home, or any remote location.  Convenient lunchtime Zoom sessions make it easy to participate without disrupting your schedule.

July Hydration Challenge

While most medical experts recommend drinking at least 8 glasses of water each day, this challenge is to drink at least 6 glasses each day for 20 days this month.  Print the challenge below and check off each day you drank at least 6 glasses (48 oz) of water. 

Challenge runs: July 1st - July 31st

Drinking water helps:

  • Helps boost brain power and energy
  • Supports weight loss
  • Improves complexion
  • Flushes toxins through your kidneys
  • Prevents headaches
  • Generally helps keep your body functioning properly

After you complete your challenge, upload your participation by clicking the link below.  First 20 participants to submit proof of completing challenge will win a stainless-steel water bottle!  Must submit by August 7th to be eligible to win a prize.

1 Week Flexibility Challenge

Challenge Runs: July 21st - July 27th 

Tired of feeling stiff? Want to be able to touch your toes? Or perhaps just interested in feeling better throughout the day? Take this challenge to get the jump start needed to improve your mobility!

What’s included:

  • Pre and post assessment link to measure your success
  • LIVE 10-min stretching sessions via ZOOM at 10am and 2pm Monday- Friday with Julie or Dan. NO equipment needed except for a chair.
  • Link to our YouTube stretching library to do stretches anytime during the week
  • Presentation on Importance of Flexibility as we age to watch at your convenience
  • Goal is to complete 1- 10 min session per day for 5-7 days
  • All who complete challenge pre/post assessment will be entered to win one of 3 yoga mats with printed yoga poses on it
