Theresa joined Manatee County / Utilities Employee Services in October 2021, and in January 2024 moved into Employee Health Benefits with the Human Resources team. Theresa enjoys being a “go to person” and assists colleagues with new hire questions, insurance protocols, benefit questions, and life events.  Always an advocate to offer help to others recovering or dealing with life situations, she earned a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license and worked at Citrus County Schools supporting children grades Pre-K to 12th grade.  She calls upon 20+ years of business experience acquired through managing customer service teams, performing design implementation, and project management while working for a Fortune 500 marketing company. 

Theresa has a passion for genealogy and tracing family ancestry, performing transcription for authors, sewing … and something unique is she and her husband have been full-time liveaboards on a 50-foot boat since 2019.
